CHARLES M. PIGOTT
Charles M. Pigott is the founding shareholder of Pigott, Pigott & Kearce, P.A. He received his Bachelors Degree in Business Marketing from Florida State University in 1972 and his Juris Doctorate degree from Cumberland School of Law graduating Summa Cum Laude in 1979. Mr. Pigott is a member of the Florida Bar Association and is admitted to practice before the United States Court of Appeals Eleventh Circuit. Mr. Pigott was born in High Springs, Florida, but spent much of his childhood in Sanford, Florida. Mr. Pigott moved to Palm Beach County during high school and has been a resident since. Mr. Pigott began his practice with the law firm of Bakst & Associates, P.A. specializing in the fields of collections and bankruptcy. Thereafter, Mr. Pigott opened a sole practice in 1986.
Mr. Pigott was joined by his son, Jeremy, in 2006. Mr. Pigott’s current areas of practice include dissolution of marriage, wills, trusts and estates, guardianship, corporate law and general commercial & civil litigation, and real estate.
Charles is married to Bonnie, a Palm Beach County native. They have four children and five grandchildren.
JEREMY H. PIGOTT
Jeremy H. Pigott is a shareholder of Pigott, Pigott & Kearce, P.A. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2000, Cum Laude, from the University of Florida and his Juris Doctorate degree in 2003, Cum Laude, from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. Mr. Pigott is a member of the Florida Bar Association, Palm Beach County Bar Association, Palm Beach Bar Association Unified Family Law Committee and former member of the Palm Beach County Sports Commission. He was born in Birmingham, Alabama but was raised in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Jeremy began his practice with the Law Firm of Roberts, Reynolds, Bedard and Tuzzio, P.A. specializing in the fields of insurance defense, construction defects and products liability litigation, as well as municipal law. Thereafter, he practiced with the Law Firm of Hilley and Wyant-Cortez, P.A. specializing in the fields of real estate transactions and real estate litigation. Mr. Pigott joined his father’s law practice in 2006. His current areas of practice include family and matrimonial law, commercial and residential landlord-tenant law, wills, trusts and probate.
Jeremy is married and lives in Palm Beach County with his wife, Kelly and their two children, Sawyer and Sailor. He enjoys playing golf and spending time with his family and friends.
W. MATTHEW KEARCE
W. Matthew Kearce grew up in the Panhandle of Florida, but has lived in South Florida since 2002. Matt joined the firm of Pigott, Pigott & Kearce, P.A. in 2011. His areas of practice include bankruptcy, real estate, commercial litigation, civil litigation and collections. Matt is a member of the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida. He is a title agent for Old Republic National Title Insurance Company. Matt has been an active member of the Palm Beach County Bar Association, Le Tip of West Palm Beach, the Gary Carter Foundation, as well as a coach for youth sports in North Palm Beach.
Matt earned his Juris Doctorate from Nova Southeastern University and his Finance Degree at Florida State University. Â Prior to attending Florida State he played college baseball at the University of West Georgia. He is married with two children and enjoys spending time with his family and playing sports.
